On 27th October 2018, after years of planning, paddles finally hit the water.
What was to come was an adventure of epic proportions involving everything from a full-on hippo attack, being arrested and detained in Burundi, running crazy rapids, paddling through a country on the brink of civil war and so much more!
Sarah is continuing her adventures. She has gone on to paddle the Murray River and cycle across Australia.
